1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the easySMSF website, client portal and our SMSF establishment, administration, accounting, tax and audit services. By using our website or engaging our services you agree to these terms.

2. No financial advice

Information on this website and provided by easySMSF is general in nature and does not take into account your personal objectives, financial situation or needs. easySMSF does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence and does not provide financial product advice. You should obtain independent advice from a licensed adviser before making any financial decision.

3. Engagement

Specific services we provide will be the subject of a separate engagement letter or fee schedule that, together with these terms, forms the agreement between us.

4. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate, complete and timely information
• Comply with your obligations as a trustee under the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993
• Keep your login credentials secure

5. Fees

Fees are as quoted in your engagement or on our pricing page. Third-party costs (ASIC, ATO, audit) are passed through.

6. Liability

Our liability is limited by a Scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website is owned by easySMSF or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Termination

Our commitment to you is simple: Control. In return we ask for one upfront commitment — ongoing SMSF administration engagements have a minimum term of 12 months from commencement, which covers one full annual cycle of accounts, tax return and independent audit. After the initial 12-month minimum term, you invest on your terms and either party may terminate on reasonable notice. There are no exit fees or remainder-of-year charges, and a complete records handover is provided to your nominated administrator at no charge. You remain liable for fees incurred up to the termination date.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
